Ready to see what we’ve been working on? This month, our appointment functionality got some TLC with two new updates. Plus, we’ve made some changes to our branded web widgets and the Mindbody Business app—here's the latest for July.
New drop-down menu
For all Mindbody users • Available in all regions • Appointment-based businesses
The drop-down menu for making an appointment or selecting service add-ons now displays more than two services, so it’s easier and faster for you to find what you need.
Convenient client forms
For Accelerate, Ultimate, Ultimate+ users • Available in all regions • Appointment-based businesses
Pull up client documents instantly with an added shortcut on the appointments calendar. This update makes client information more accessible so you can quickly prepare for their next visit.
Branded web widgets: Easily sync the latest widget to your site
For Branded web users • Available in all regions • Class and appointment-based businesses
Your site’s branded web widgets can now be upgraded without manually changing the code yourself. Go to your widgets, select which appointment widget you want to edit, and hit "preview the new widget" at the top of the page. Then, select "save and upgrade" under widget settings. Refresh your website and you're good to go!

Business app: Seamlessly process contracts from your phone
For all Mindbody users • Available in all regions • Class-based businesses
You can now accept cards for contract payments in the Mindbody Business app. This provides more convenient payment options for your clients and allows you to receive more transactions using just your phone.
The latest bug fixes
- BUG-14258: When trying to connect to Mindbody site, the view of the site was compressed. This has been resolved
- BUG-9780: Client alerts were not popping up when booking client appointments. They are now popping up as expected.
- BUG-8673: The Card Updater reports are now generating results for cards that have been updated.
- BUG-11460: Some Marketing Suite campaigns were only sending to subsets of clients instead of all clients. This has been resolved.
- BUG-15974: We have fixed a bug where the Mindbody app was crashing if customers clicked on events with “TBD” start times in the Workshops & Events tab.
- BUG-16878: On branded apps, the app was freezing when certain staff were assigned to the class. This has been fixed.
- BUG-16972: On iOS, branded apps were not showing canceled classes as canceled. Branded apps on iOS are now correctly reflecting class cancellations.
- BUG-17237: Staff were not receiving notifications for the Mindbody Messenger app. Staff could see the chat messages when they logged in. This has been updated so that staff are receiving notifications.
- BUG-17310: Customers were encountering "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again, or call support if this keeps happening" when adding class schedules under the permission group "Studio Manager". This has been resolved.
